Description of your own competence – Create a free-form description of your skills. Make yourself questions, for example: Where are you good at? What makes you happy or enthusiastic? In what situations have you got good feedback? The target is that you could use parts of your text in your job applications.

Find 1-2 Finnish employers (name them) that could hire you considering your education, work experience and skills acquired otherwise. Describe how your competence would meet the needs of these employers. Length of the essay 3–6 pages.

Return the final essay by email to: muru.linjala@jyu.fi. You can return the essay anytime during the term fall 2016, however, no later than Fri 16th December, 2016.
