| Contents: | [Not translated.] Tutustuttaa opiskelija suomalaisen teollisuuden tärkeimpiin prosesseihin, kuten metsäteollisuuden, perusmetallien valmistuksen ja kemian teollisuuden prosesseihin. Prosessiesimerkkien avulla tarkastellaan eri faaseissa kulkevia ainevirtoja ja muodostetaan prosessille ja sen osaprosesseille aine- ja energiataseita. Erityisesti selvitetään prosessien ympäristövaikutuksia ja energian käyttöä. Lisäksi käydään läpi prosessien kehitysmahdollisuuksia. Kurssiin kuuluu pakollinen harjoitustyö, joka tehdään taulukkolaskentaohjelmalla. The students will be familiar with the major industrial processes and understand the different technical phases and units of the processes. The process examples are from the basic metal production industry, pulp and paper industry and chemical industry. The environmental, energy and development aspects of these processes will be addressed. Heat and material balances will be calculated for industrial processes. With these balances it is studied how different species and energy streams flow in the systems. A calculation exercise using spreadsheet software is included. |
