Contents: | Energy, production of energy and its consumption, distributed energy production; Introduction to renewable energy production; Conversion technologies related with bioenergy; thermochemical processes (combustion, gasification, pyrolysis), biological and chemical processes, physical processes; Biofuels, their production, sustainability- and environmental aspects. |
Learning outcomes: | Basics of renewable energy production. Knowledge about conversion technologies from biomass raw materials to energy products and their enviromental and sustainability aspects. |
