The aim of the course is to introduce students to basic aspects of mental skills aimed at performance enhancement and well-being of athletes. The course includes practical sessions on the development and assessment of a program incorporating fundamental psychological skills and techniques. 

Learning outcomes:

On successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

<p style="margin-left:26.1pt;"> a)              understand the theoretical background of mental skills involved in sports</p> <p style="margin-left:26.1pt;"> b)             understand basic principles for an effective assessment of athletes’ mental skills</p> <p style="margin-left:26.1pt;"> c)             know different techniques used to improve mental skills</p>
