| Contents: | First principles of number theory including notations, prime numbers and divisibility.
The course replaces the course Lukuteorian alkeet MAT0913. |
| Learning outcomes: | After the course student - can study divisibility of integers - can use congruence in studying divisibility - can start to study a new simple problem of number theory without an example - knows that research, making conjectures and prooving theorems are the central in mathematics |

| Completion mode: | Exercises, homeworks and final exam. Or just final exam. |
